Shanghai’s first trailer is out and one person who stands out in the trailer is Emraan Hashmi. Emraan has been referred as the Smooch king or the Serial Kisser though he has delivered Hits constantly however critics still judge him on the basis of his Kisses and not the roles he has played. Perhaps Shanghai will change his fortunes. Emraan caries a rustic vilage look wih paan stained teeths and looks comical yet impressive. Abhay deol looks natural as always and Kalki Koechlin is comfortable.
Shanghai is directed by Dibankar Banerjee of Khosla ka ghosla fame and is a political thriller. Abhay Deol plays Krishnan, an IAS officer . Emraan Hashmi is Jogi a small town dealer who shoots marriage and porn videos.
